Director of Physician Relations

Description:
The Director of Physician Relations is responsible for relationship management with referring physicians, staff and other key internal and external stakeholders, execution of physician outreach, referral development and clinical integration.
Position serves as the single point of contact for physicians and other providers.
Responsibilities Serve as a relationship manager, ambassador, and single point of contact with referring providers and physician practices.
Routinely visit local and assigned physician practices to provide information about new services and address needs of providers and staff.
Promptly identify and address care access and referral barriers on behalf of referring providers and practice staff.
Onboard newly employed providers, practice managers, and referral coordinators to clinical services and referral management pathways.
Design, develop and execute physician outreach that supports strategic growth, clinical integration, and care access.
Collaborate with physicians, service line, and hospital leadership in the planning process.
Collect customer feedback, market intelligence, business development, clinical integration opportunities identified from referring provider and staff interactions.
Provide information to service line leadership, strategic planning, and other organizational stakeholders.
Participate in or lead cross-functional process improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
Five (5) years of relevant experience in either physician relations, healthcare sales, practice management or clinical nursing.
Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship.
Experience handling sensitive and confidential information.
High growth fast paced organization.
The ability to be productive and successful in an intense work environment.
A willingness and ability to travel on occasion are required, it is anticipated that this will be less than 10% of work time.
Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain appropriate prioritization and productivity while working under deadlines.
Ability to analyze, synthesize and manage complex information.
Proven problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position during shift for extended periods of time.
Repetitive motion, substantial movements(motions) of the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
Close visual acuity to perform an activity, viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading.
Ability to operate standard office equipment.
Ability to lift and carry small parcels, packages, and other items (less than 5%).
Ability to walk short distances.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
